• 2011-11-06: Added runit configuration workaround in docs

  geoipdns-conf currently generates run files in the daemontools tradition. runit support is planned but a workaround is now available in the docs.

• 2011-04-09: Test how globally distributed DNS servers respond

  http://www.whatsmydns.net/ is a handy tool for seeing how various DNS servers around the net see you. Try geotest.rnd.bandwidth.com as an example.

• 2011-02-14: better geoipdns-geolitecity-build.rb contributed

  Wejn contributed an optimized GeoLiteCity ruby script which has no dependancy on "cidr.pl". This massively speeds up the conversion process resulting in over 34,000 records per second on modest hardware.

• 2011-02-01: geoipdns-0.03 is released

  Thanks to Jose Celestino for several fixes in evq.h. We've also added a THANKS file to the distribution listing contributors.

• 2011-01-24: GeoIPDNS production installs

  Pablo reports production use of GeoIPDNS to support various services including a quick failover system at Edgetechnology S.R.L.. If you have a production version running, please let us know.

• 2010-07-30: geoipdns-0.02 is released

  GeoIPDNS 0.02 removes some unused files and addes a changelog. Please give it a try.
